Protecting your greenhouse
So that your greenhouse doesn't take off!
When there are high winds make sure you close all vents and doors. On the rare occasions when we experience heavy snowfalls, make sure you clear the roof of the building, to save it from suffering too much load bearing. Insuring your greenhouse
Most insurers will be only too happy to add your greenhouse to your house insurance, which might be a good idea

Whilst carrying out any self assembly,
particularly when handling panes of glass,
it is of paramount importance that you take
basic safety precautions to avoid injury,
and follow assembly instructions carefully. Remember to wear protective glasses, gloves,
headwear and sturdy shoes when handling
glass. Sharp edges can cause serious injury. If you do drop a pane of glass, always clear
it up immediately and dispose of it with care.
Broken glass is a safety hazard. Never force a pane of glass into its fittings.
